What this site is
Wollongong Demolition connects property owners and builders across the Illawarra, the Southern Highlands and the Shoalhaven with independent demolition contractors working in their area. You tell us about the structure, we arrange a site assessment, and you get a written price from the contractor who would carry out the work.
We are not the demolition company. The quote is theirs, the contract is with them, and the licences are theirs.
That distinction matters more in demolition than in most trades, because demolition is licensed work in NSW and asbestos removal is licensed separately again. A referral site that blurs the line is doing you no favours.
The licensed contractor
Demolition work arranged through this site is carried out by A.C.N. 670 293 875 Pty Ltd, trading as Civillink Logistics, ABN 90 670 293 875, holder of NSW demolition licence AD214819, current to 8 September 2031.
That licence is a matter of public record. You can confirm it in about thirty seconds on the Verify NSW asbestos and demolition register by searching the licence number — it will show you the holder, the ABN, the status and the expiry date.

What we ask of the contractors we work with
We ask that they hold the SafeWork NSW licensing appropriate to the class of work they take on, that they carry current insurance, and that asbestos removal is referred to a separately licensed asbestos removalist rather than absorbed into a demolition scope.
We also ask for quoting practices that we think are the minimum for this trade: a site assessment before a price, a stated tonnage assumption for disposal, an explicit position on asbestos, and a written variation process.
What we cannot do
We cannot verify licences and insurance on an ongoing basis for every contractor and every job. So the instruction is the same one we would give a friend: ask to see the licence and the certificate of currency before work starts, and check the licence details against the SafeWork NSW and NSW Fair Trading registers.
For asbestos work specifically, ask which class of removal licence the removalist holds and confirm it covers the material at your property. That is a reasonable question and any legitimate operator will answer it without hesitation.
Why we are careful about asbestos
Because the Illawarra was built with fibro. Post-war housing across Warrawong, Cringila, Berkeley, Unanderra, Port Kembla and the escarpment suburbs used asbestos cement sheeting extensively, and a great deal of it is still standing.
That means asbestos is not an edge case here. It is the default assumption on a pre-1990 house until testing says otherwise, and it shapes the sequence, the licensing and the cost of the job. The asbestos page sets out how it is handled and, importantly, who is allowed to handle it.
What we will not tell you
We will not claim a licence we do not hold. We will not claim to remove asbestos. We will not tell you a council approval is guaranteed or give you a date for one — council and accredited certifiers make those decisions, not contractors and certainly not websites.
